Hi, we’re Alex & Katherine Manyoma

2 Ordinary people serving a BIG God

The World Race asked us to mentor our first team that would be sent out January of 26′. Without thinking twice about it, we knew. “Yes, Lord” was quickly our answer. Thinking back to that moment, we are so thankful. He moved us, prepared us, and equipped us for this new season we would come to fall so deeply in love with. We have had a crazy year! 4 Georgia Trips (We live in Texas), 5 countries, 3 teams, 42 racers, 7 Leaders, all Yes’s. Yes’s to live out Kingdom in the nations for the sake of the Gospel. We love this! Thank you for walking, praying, and supporting the Manyoma’s!

What a World Race mentor does

As mentors with the World Race, a ministry of Adventures in Missions, we walk with World Race squads, both Semester and Gap Year teams, through their season of missions. That means coaching, encouraging, praying with, and caring for these young leaders, both from home and in person on the field.

This year alone we have mentored two Semester teams, K Squad and L Squad, and our current squad, R Squad, a Gap Year team serving in Greece, is our third team of 2026. We will be traveling with them to every stop on their route, serving alongside them and pouring into them face to face.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Our WHY

We want each racer and leader we get to lead, to experience the love of Jesus, walk in His identity, and live out Kingdom WHEREVER they go. Ministry is life, and life is ministry. We do this because we have tasted and seen that the Lord is good; Psalm 34:8.

Why monthly partners matter

Mentoring is not a one-time trip. It is an ongoing calling, squad after squad. Monthly partners make it possible for us to keep showing up for each group of racers, at home and on the field.
